Your Role:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist you will:
- Provide clinical and therapeutic interventions in Disability and Community settings to enhance participants quality of life.
- Coach and mentor junior therapists while contributing to continuous improvement projects.
- Lead the team offering guidance supervision and ensuring high standards of care.
- Complete assessments including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) and develop evidencebased therapy plans to support independence and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct home modification assessments for safety and accessibility.
- Build relationships with participants families and support teams and educate on key health topics.
Your Opportunity:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist in a community setting you will join a large collaborative multidisciplinary allied health team supporting participants and consumers across Disability and Community settings. This role offers the opportunity to:
- Utilise your skills in clinical and therapeutic interventions to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes for participants and consumers.
- Be supported by clinical treatment pathways designed to optimise rehabilitation and goal achievement for participants.
- Work with participants and consumers referred through governmentfunded models including NDIS Home Care Packages ShortTerm Restorative Care Commonwealth Home Support Programme and private funding.
- Experience a diverse caseload and a supportive work environment that values collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
