Job Description
Boasting an expansive 3 stories located just off of Lougheed Highway This location features floor to ceiling windows in the main gym fully equipped womens only area private training area over 20 group classes per week functional turf area and a fully stocked smoothy/supplement bar.
The Golds Gym brand has been the authority on fitness since 1965. It was then that fitness legend Joe Gold took the knowledge and expertise he gained from training at the world famous Muscle Beach and opened up the first Golds Gym on Pacific Avenue in Venice California. We are searching for a NEW team member!
Time of Work Must be available 3 days (can work up to 5 days open/mids)
- Must be available to work:
- MONDAY OPEN 4:45AM9:45AM
THURSDAY MID 2:15PM6:15PM
FRIDAY MID 9:15AM2:15PM
SATURDAY MID 10:30AM3:30PM - Training shifts may be early mid day for the first 710 days of employment.
What we need from you
- Service driven with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- High school diploma required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid First Aid certification an asset.
- Fluent in English Ability to speak other languages an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook Excel etc..
- Knowledge of cash handling / previous experience with POS terminals.
- Ability work both alone and in groups.
- Critical thinking / problem solving skills.
- Must have reliable transportation (important for openers and closers due to limited bus services in this area)
- Greet members and guest enthusiastically to encourage a positive culture at the club.
- Promptly ensure that customer inquiries are resolved professionally and thoroughly via telephone email and in person encounters.
- Monitor member checkins / Checkin guests ensuring all policies and processes are
- Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate employee/department in a prompt professional manner.
- Complete all guest check in procedures.
- Efficiently and effective input and update daily cash reconciliation documents
- Process point of sale items such as retail and concession sales.
- Check in all members and guests using the proper registration procedures.
- Distribute membership cards parking decals towels childminding tickets and other materials as needed.
