We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Roma QLD. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities and are flexible with working various shifts including mornings afternoons overnights (minimum 2 per fortnight) and weekends we would love to hear from you!
In this role you will be based in our SIL home caring for the 3 resident clients providing daily personal care and managing any complex behaviours. Shifts are Full time hours and are on rotational rosters including Overnight shifts and weekends.
What Youll Do:
Working within our SIL (Supported Independant Living) homes you will support people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Your key duties will include:
- Helping people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping personal care social skills and budgeting.
- Assisting with personal care as required meal planning cooking light cleaning and facilitating community connections.
- Supporting daily activities such as going for walks attending movies or accompanying appointments.

What We Look For:
- Preferred but not essential: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
- Experience and empathy in providing highquality support in a SIL environment or with complex disabilities while fostering independence for clients.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days evenings early mornings weekends and sleepovers.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks.
- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
Required Clearances:
Willing to obtain
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
- Open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance.
