About the role:
As a Lead UX Operations Manager supporting our Guest UX team youll play a key role in shaping how our teams work together to deliver worldclass digital experiences. Youll help teams build the routines rhythms and frameworks that drive clarity in planning accelerate decisionmaking and enable continuous improvement at scale.
In this role you will be responsible for creating efficient processes and measures that generate highquality outputs to support scalable solutions for our user experience team. In collaboration with UX leadership and crossfunctional partners you will focus on establishing models that support the UX team in key areas like management reporting metric development communication collaboration and tools management. Youll champion usercentered and designthinking processes to solve complex problems with a highly crossfunctional team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of UX leaders product designers content designers engineers product managers accessibility consultants data analysts and UX researchers
Design and manage reporting mechanisms and feedback loops that surface UX progress blockers and opportunitiesconnecting UX impact to broader business and guest outcomes
Establish clear processes for design delivery defining who needs to review work and when
Lead the development and guardianship of standardized scalable Design Operations processes across the organization contributing best practices and adoptable ways of working that support the total enterprise
Use metrics and insights to monitor the health of workflows identify operational inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvements
Act as a connective tissue between UX and partner operations functions (e.g. product operations TPMs) ensuring coordination while maintaining focus on design impact and team enablement
Help integrate emerging technologies and tools into the product development lifecycle in partnership with product design and tech leaders
Foster an environment of transparency shared understanding and continuous learning across crossfunctional teams
About you:
7 years of experience in digital software product work with inhouse or agency product design teams
A portfolio featuring design operations and/or design program management work
Demonstrated knowledge of UX design processes and best practices
Proven track record in leading process among peers to improve team best practices to continue to scale and improve the operations function within the organization
Ability to work on multiple high profile workstreams at once; Managing prioritization and stakeholder/leader management to complete work and deliver results on time
Able to work well in a large organization with many partners with a demonstrated track record of building deep relationships and influencing peers and leaders
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and use strategic approaches to solve complicated problems with excellent collaboration skills to pull partners into your work process
Excellent communication skillsyou can clearly articulate your thinking and influence others with logic empathy and data
Experience mentoring and supporting the growth of others within a team

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
