Job Description
MercedesBenz of St. Louis is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Automotive Porter. This fulltime hourly position is perfect for someone who is passionate about cars and has a strong work ethic. As an Automotive Porter you will assist our technicians and sales team in maintaining and preparing vehicles for repairs and customer delivery. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in the automotive industry.
The Automotive Porter position at MercedesBenz of St. Louis offers a competitive hourly wage and pay is weekly. No late nights and Saturday lunches are provided by the dealership for employees. Responsibilities:
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Move and drive customer and dealership vehicles as needed
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as washing waxing and vacuuming
Responsible for keeping the shop and service bays clean and organized
Monitor inventory levels and request supplies as needed
Ensure all customer vehicles are returned in a clean and presentable condition
Communicate effectively and professionally with team members customers and management
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Possess a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Ability to work in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
