We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper N.J. certification.
SCHOOL COUNSELOR GRADES 1012 (ANTICIPATED)

QUALIFICATIONS:

N.J. Certificate: School Counselor

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the components of a comprehensive developmental counseling program child growth and development strategies for effective career and educational planning learning assessment and diagnosis research related to learning and the resources available in the school and community to assist secondary students
Experience withcollege and career readiness process for students
Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and sensitive interpersonal skills to relate well with students staff administration parents and the community
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students parents and educators
Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and resources
Experience working with educational software platforms
Broad knowledge of testing and evaluation theories of individual and group counseling techniques elementary/secondary school counseling program design and career educational information and placement
Knowledge of computerized master schedule development preferred
Experience managing student database systems
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace
Experience working with atrisk students
