Job Description

Your role at St John of God Accord

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resource Advisor in this standalone position to join our Greensborough team on a permanent full time basis.

Supported by a wide network of HR professionals through the St John of God Health Care network the position is the first point of contact for most HR related queries. If you like working independently but as part of a diverse corporate services team this role is perfect for you.

We deliver customer focused services to both internal and external stakeholders and you will provide expert advice and support on a range of HR matters including policies industrial relations legislation enterprise agreements and workforce strategies.

The Position

  • Provides generalist advice to Managers and Caregivers on Human Resource matters.

  • Support and assist managers by developing plans and strategies to deliver desired outcomes in developing culture caregiver capability and an engaged and effective workforce.

  • Collaborate with coach and advise Managers on workforce issues and assist in the identification of improvement strategies.

  • Provide advice and assistance to Managers on caregiver performance management and improvement strategies.

  • Assist with HR and business analytics working with Managers to develop implement and support strategies that lead to improved performance and operational target achievements.

  • Assist Managers in the oversight of caregiver nonwork related Fitness for Work activities and Workers Compensation Cases including liaison with Group and Injury Management Teams on appropriate management.

  • Assist and support Managers with interactions with Union Representatives on employee related matters in conjunction with Industrial Relations

You will have experience delivering human resource services within a complex work environment an indepth understanding of HR related policies and procedures and a strong track record of building relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Successful applicants will hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.

We can offer you

  • Salary: $99730 to $110852 per annum plus 11.5 Superannuation

  • Permanent fulltime or 4 days a week negotiable

  • Salary packaging up to $18550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage rent meal entertainment holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
