The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Medina is looking for Director of Sales candidates. We are looking for career minded candidates with strong sales and customer service backgrounds. Hotel sales experience preferred.
Job Summary: The key responsibility of this position is the overall management of the sales efforts in order to reach or exceed budgeted hotel guest room & meeting room/banquet revenue. This is achieved through developing and executing strategies to increase the customer base through enhanced customer relationships identifying new business opportunities for growth and assisting with the overall management of rates and revenue.
Job Qualifications: Candidate must have at least 3 years sales experience preferably in the hospitality industry. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and must demonstrate a true passion for the hospitality business and commitment to exceptional guest service. Exhibits a fun positive attitude with a sense of humor.
Responsibilities & specific duties:
Hours of work The hotel operates 7 days a week. The Director of Sales will work a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule will be normal business hours Monday through Friday. However this schedule will need to be flexible to accommodate fluctuating business demands and it may be necessary to work shifts other than those normally scheduled including evenings and/or weekends.
