We have urgent hiring in leading steel manufacturing company
Position Head Procurement
Location: Thane Mumbai
Must have handson experience in all procurement functions for Electrical items mechanical stores and raw materials especially for EOT Cranes Gantry Cranes Material Handling Equipments etc.
Working level understanding for the various major purchase items like Motors Drives Panels/erooms gear boxes steel plates structural steel castings forgings couplings brakes etc.
Locating suitable suppliers/ develop new supliers as required
Obtain offers and negotiate with Suppliers
Collaborate intra and inter departmental activities (technical / commercial / administrative / financial)
Monitor performance of the department
Evaluate competency of new vendor
Followup with suppliers for timely delivery
Approval of purchase order as per financial authority
Follow up with Finance for supplier payment
Preparation of department budget
Stores Management
Inventory Management
