Job Description:
Your day-to-day will include:
- Provide finance and operations focused advisory services to successfully lead asset management entities including Fortune 500 companies.
- Oversee subordinate team members in the execution of projects and deadlines.
- Supervise train and mentor staff members and assess their performance on engagements.
- Manage workloads against the established budget and set expectations for deliverables.
- Maintain direct communication with Chief Financial Officers (CFO) and Chief Operations Officers (COO) to manage expectations ensure client satisfaction ensure deadlines are met and lead change efforts effectively.
- Develop and manage relationships with client contacts by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the clients business and industry.
- Communicate any client needs control exceptions or project issues directly with the Partner and client.
- Identify new project opportunities respond to requests for proposals and pitch new ideas. Remain active in the industry through attendance of conferences and delivery of Thought Leadership.
- Manage the identification and implementation of cutting-edge automation software to assist in the delivery of multiple statutory audit opinions in line with US GAAP requirements.
- Supervises 5 subordinates Associate Senior Associate III II & I.
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
- Requirement - Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration a related or the foreign degree equivalent and 5 years of relevant progressively more responsible experience as an Associate Senior Associate Assistant Manager Manager Associate Director or alternate relevant acceptable occupation.
- Relevant experience - Applicants must possess experience in the following: (1) Utilizing cloud based financial reporting tools to assist in financial and management reporting such as Investran CRM and Thompson Reuters; (2) Managing and delivering large scale international statutory and non-statutory financial accounting and reporting for investment entities including PCAOB and GAAP compliant engagements; (3) Advising Chief Financial Officers Chief Operating Officers and management boards of Fortune 500 clients by understanding their financial and operating challenges; (4) Managing and coaching local and international engagement teams; (5) Consulting with senior management and various teams in the acquisition of assets and providing timely financial reporting; and (6) Creating and providing technical private equity and technology training to associates and junior member of the teams to support growth in the engagement.
- Certification as a CPA or CA ACA or ACCA (U.S. or other jurisdiction).
- 60% travel to various client sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available.
Compensation for position: $160000 - $175000/year
