Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our clients dynamic team in Durbanville South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design municipal services from conception through to construction.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and review design documentation project specifications and reports.
- Oversee construction phases ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilize software tools for drafting and modeling ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and share best practices within the team.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech) or eligible to register within the next 12 months.
- Minimum of 510 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
- Project Management experience is an advantage.
