Job Description
Our client is looking for a Chemistry Manager to join their team in Cape Town. This is a highly senior role with a future path to Exco overseeing the entire chemistry division of the business. The successful candidate will lead product development product design and production while engaging with international clients in a clientfacing capacity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the chemistry division including product development and product design.
- Lead laboratory operations and ensure quality control in production.
- Develop and enhance UV chemistry and polymer chemistry formulations.
- Collaborate with international clients and provide technical expertise.
- Drive innovation and improvements in chemical processes and products.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Chemistry (Honours in Chemistry also required).
- PhD in Chemistry is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in UV chemistry and polymer chemistry.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior chemistryrelated role.
- Experience managing laboratory and production operations.
- Strong clientfacing skills particularly with international clients.
- Salary: negotiable.
