Job Description
Status:Part Time HourlyFLSA classification:NonExempt
Summary of the Position:Hourly PartTime positions working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or challenging behaviors are available.
- Advocates must be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community school and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strengthbased approach using the wrap around model.
- This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be extremely organized
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be professional flexible and have the ability to work independently
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance coverage.
