Job Description
Summary
The CRM (Slate) System Administrator is responsible for supporting the universitys recruiting and admissions student success and institutional advancement efforts. This person will have a deep understanding of CRM systems particularly Technolutions Slate and possess the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across the university to optimize CRM processes ensure data integrity and drive system enhancements. This position can be located on either the Glendale Arizona campus or the Downers Grove Illinois campus and will report to the Director of ITS Applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Technolutions Slate CRM system ensuring its smooth operation performance and security.
- Configure and customize the Slate environment to meet the universitys needs including creation and management of user accounts permissions and roles.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Perform regular system audits and data integrity checks to ensure accurate and uptodate information.
- Provide daytoday support to end users addressing technical issues answering questions and offering guidance on best practices.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and resources for faculty staff and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective use of Slate.
- Oversee the import export and integration of data between Slate and other university systems (e.g. SIS financial systems).
- Create and maintain complex queries reports and dashboards to support enrollment management student success initiatives and institutional advancement efforts.
- Collaborate with departments to identify data needs and provide accurate and timely reports for decision making.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement new features to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about updates and new functionalities in Technolutions Slate and recommend there adoption where appropriate.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree required preferably in computer science computer engineering software engineering or a related information technology field from an accredited institution. Masters degree preferred. Must have 35 years of experience in CRM system administration with a strong preference for experience with Technolutions Slate. 57 years of experience is preferred. Experience in a higher education environment particularly in admissions student success and institutional advancement is highly desirable.
The individual must have the following skills:
- Strong understanding of data management principles including data integrity integration and reporting.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Computer Skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook). Slate or CRM platforms Technolutions Slate SQL HTML CSS and JavaScript.
