Job Description

    Training & Development Manager

    Location: Scottsdale AZ Industry: Multifamily Real Estate

    About the Role

    As our Training & Development Manager you will create deliver and manage training programs across the company. Youll design learning experiences that develop talent enhance performance and support company growth. This handson role requires strong instructional design skills a passion for employee development and a strategic mindset.

    What Youll Do

    • Utilize Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design methodology to develop organize and update training manuals multimedia aids and other educational materials tailored to specific roles to decrease targeted performance gaps efficiently.
    • Define minimum skill proficiencies for critical positions and develop processes for evaluating team members strengths and weaknesses.
    • Facilitate companywide training through multiple delivery methods including webbased training instructorled classes seminars/workshops and blended learning.
    • Develop and conduct ongoing education/refresher training sessions for corporate and onsite team members to ensure current knowledge of industry trends software updates and company policy changes.
    • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver training tracks based on role position and interests ensuring accuracy of learner profiles and generating reports.
    • Maintain a consistent onboarding experience for new hires that welcomes educates and promotes success from day one coordinating with Talent Acquisition and property teams.
    • Maintain and enhance the departments SharePoint site including user interface and document management.
    • Provide daytoday guidance to managers promoting and recognizing strong performance.
    • Partner with the Regional Service Manager to deliver frequent safety training sessions.
    • Travel to properties to deliver inperson training and support teams in developing their site programs.
    • Develop a succession management plan to identify assess and develop employees across operations and corporate teams aligning skill development with career advancement opportunities.
    • Stay informed of training and development trends in the multifamily industry to enhance learning initiatives.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Education

    • Bachelors degree in human resources Organizational Development Education or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    Preferred Skills

    • 35 years of experience in training and development preferably in multifamily property management or a related industry
    • Expertise in instructional design adult learning principles and training program development.
    • Experience with LMS administration and reporting. Yardi Aspire experience is a plus.
    • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to conduct engaging inperson and virtual training sessions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint and elearning software.
    • Ability to travel as needed to conduct onsite training and support field teams.

    Targeted Salary range: 75K to 85K
