Job Description

The Operations Controller is a finance business partner who supports a divisions VP of Ops and manufacturing site leaders to provide financial data and drive operational performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for P&L annual budget development monthly results variance analysis and forecasting.
- Monthly risks and opportunities update.
- Coordinate Monthly Operating Review package and provide financial readout.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives for profitability improvement.
- Provide visibility to product profit margins and items that need to be addressed with Product Line Management and Sales.
- Develop financial business cases for operational improvements.
- Analyze data to draw conclusions and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Review capital expenditure requests and track/forecast annual spend against budget.
- Support KPI development and tracking.
- Lead quarterly E&O reserve review.
- Support board of directors package data as required.
- Develop maintain and distribute adhoc reports as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: BS in finance or accounting.
- Experience Years: 7 years.
- Experience Type: Financial analysis with manufacturing operations or manufacturing site experience required.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel PowerPoint BI.
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Demonstrate leadership potential for successive advancement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Onsite in either of our Fairview PA or Ann Arbor MI facilities or hybrid of onsite and remote.
