Job Description
- Global Hardware Provider
- Hybrid position with 2 days on site in Austin
- Base Salary 175k 225k MBO of 25
Lead Solution Development & Architecture
- Customer1st approach
- Understand server technologies customer environments and expectations.
Customer & Technical Engagement
- Collaborate with system architects and software firmware & thermal domains as well as vendors.
- From leading technical engagements to handson support
Commodity Strategy & Supply Chain Optimization
- Develop & execute strategies for CPUs GPUs memory storage & networking sourcing
- Collaborate with manufacturing and Ops to integrate components into production
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers & technologies
Skills & Experiences
- More than 10 years of relevant engineering experience required
- Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer Architect or similar
- Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS Azure) and Hyperscale Data Centers
- Deep knowledge and experience with Server Technologies including:
- Processors memory storage networking power systems
- PCIe DDR NVMe OCP andComponent suppliers
- Server hardware sustainability and regulatory compliance and procurement
- Server Architectures (GPUs x86 ARM)
- Collaboration experience across engineering operations and business teams.
- Bachelors or advanced degree(s) in EE CS/E or similar
