Job Description
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician at Holiday Inn in Hazard Kentucky is responsible for maintaining the physical aspects of our hospitality and restaurant properties. This is a fulltime individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the property management team to ensure the safety and functionality of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections of properties to identify any maintenance needs
Effectively troubleshoot and repair any electrical plumbing HVAC or other mechanical issues
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs painting and cleaning
Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs
Communicate with property management team regarding any potential safety hazards or maintenance concerns
Coordinate and oversee any contracted maintenance work
Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for maintenance assistance
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards
Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and materials and make necessary purchases as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in maintenance preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting
Working knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and other mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance problems
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physically able to perform manual labor lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions as needed
Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays as needed
