Geisingers Department of Nephrology and Center for Kidney Health Research is seeking to expand its growing clinical research program by adding a BC Nephrologist with an established history of competitive grant funding and publication.Job Duties:

Position Details:
The Department of Nephrology is a dynamic academic department with a fellowship program and 20 faculty members. Clinical duties to supplement research initiatives will be flexible and may include providing inpatient and outpatient consultative services dialysis and graduate medical education.
The Center for Kidney Health Research (CKHR): Coled by Dr. Chang and Dr. Green the CKHR is dedicated to decreasing the burden of kidney disease through a clinicbased patientoriented research program in a learning healthcare system environment. Current areas of research focus include: access to kidney transplantation acute kidney injury rehabilitation clinic decisionmaking in elderly CKD patients early detection of CKD genetics of CKD cardiovascularkidneymetabolic syndrome and patientcentered care. Resources include research data analyst support project manager project coordinators and a research assistant. CKHR investigators have active funding from the NIH PCORI and the National Kidney Foundation and have active collaborations across the health system and with many institutions nationally and internationally.
