Early Head Start
The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill a Family Visitor (Parent Partner) position with our Family and Early Childhood Education Early Head Start program.
Head Start promotes the school readiness of young children from lowincome families through local Start and Early Head Start programs support the mental social and emotional development of childrenfrom birth to age 5.
The Family Visitor (Parent Partner) is responsible for implementing a homebased curriculum and family wellbeing support for families and children prenatal through age 3 as well as socialization opportunities for enrolled families.
This position is primarily located in Greater Portland and may serve families throughout Cumberland County. Family Visitors (Parent Partners) are responsible for child development & family services curricula related EarlyHead Start homebased programming and child/family socialization activities for the overall growth anddevelopment of children & families in accordance with the Family and Early Childhood Education programplan Head Start Performance Standards State of Maine licensing rules and NAEYC Accreditation Standards.
Schedule: Fulltime 40 hours per week hourly role.
Location: Greater Portland Cumberland County ME
