Job Description
Overview
SignOn Bonus: $5000 for qualifying applicants!
Responsible for working within the established guidelines of the Laboratory Department as assigned. As a professional the MLT/CLT is responsible for carrying out the philosophy and objectives. Foremost among these responsibilities are adhering to detail in the technical performance of laboratory procedures solving practical and analytical problems resolving conflict and implementing constructive change.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Not required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Education:
Associate degree in a sciencerelated field with a certificate of completion from a Medical Laboratory Technician program from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Less than one year
Six months clinical internship
License(s)/Certification(s):
Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent. May be hired into this position if he/she has completed the requirements for registration but has not successfully completed the MLT exam; however the exam must be successfully completed within 6 months subsequent to hiring.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Writes reads comprehends and speaks fluent English.

Microsoft Office basic computer skills.
Customer/patient focused.
Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
Other:
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
