Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Scheduling Officer on a 3month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 16.73 21.89 per Hour

Summary:

Lewisham Council is seeking a proactive and wellorganised PSTN Scheduling Officer to coordinate the administration and scheduling of site visits for the Councils analoguetodigital migration project. This role will be key in ensuring timely installations and testing of new equipment facilitating efficient use of staff resources and helping meet project milestones. The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills alongside strong organisational and scheduling capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate appointments for service users and corporate sites using inhouse scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimise scheduling efficiency.
  • Monitor completion of site visits update records and arrange followup actions.
  • Manage amendments and cancellations to bookings with timely rescheduling.
  • Maintain clear professional communication with staff and residents escalating issues as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the PSTN project team including data entry and report generation.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g. LinkLine telephony engineers service leads) and external contacts such as telecare residents vendors and suppliers.

Qualification:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Essentials:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and familiar with scheduling systems.
  • Proven experience managing complex schedules involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative organisational and customer care skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks solve problems creatively and stay calm under pressure.
  • Experience in a fastpaced environment requiring coordination of multiple responsibilities.
