Minimum Qualifications
Prior to the effective date of appointment* successful candidates must have: 1. MD DO or MBBS degree; and 2. Completed 4Year Ob/Gyn Residency; and 3. Ob/Gyn Board Certification (or BoardEligible^; and 4. Unrestricted Ohio Medical License; and 5. Federallyissued DEA License. Successful candidates will receive offers contingent upon satisfying these requirements prior to their start date. Instructor candidates must meet all requirements above by their start date as Board Eligible. Assistant Professor candidates must meet all requirements above by their start date as Board Certified. Associate Professor candidates must meet all requirements above and additional time of service and publication requirements by their start date as outlined and governed by WSU BSOM Faculty Affairs policies: All onboarding rank decisions are governed by the WSU BSOM Faculty Affairs policies.
Preferred Qualifications
We are actively recruiting candidates with a professional history and/or interest in any of the following: Research publications and grant submissions Clinical trials / translational research Quality Improvement Initiatives Academic or clinical leadership UME and/or GME curriculum development course direction simulation instruction etc. Direct supervision of resident learners within inpatient and outpatient settings Community outreach and collaboration Ability to serve as a model for excellence in research and clinical care.
