Job Description
Job Summary:
TriFLEXSI Home Health Care Inc. is seeking experienced Physical Therapy Assistants for our locations in Houston Texas and surrounding areas. This is a fulltime individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the physical therapist to assist in providing highquality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist the physical therapist in carrying out treatment plans and exercises for patients
Monitor and document patient progress and report to the physical therapist
Assist patients with activities of daily living exercises and mobility as directed by the physical therapist
Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their condition and prevent future injuries
Communicate effectively and coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferably in a home health setting
Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current CPR certification
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
