Job Description
What youll do:
As a Technical Inside Sales Representative at Applied Industrial Technologies youll help our customers by assisting them with technical help throughout their orders from start to finish. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection placement of orders for products and services requests for prices and quotations while providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Automation Inc. customers.
- Provide support for Outside Sales staff.
- Create customer quotes for price terms of sale availability delivery dates and other related information.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries quality and lead times with manufacturers.
- Followup on customer quotes and negotiate to close the sale
- Place purchase orders with our suppliers.

Requirements:
- 3 or more year(s) of technical customer service or sales experience.
- Data entry experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office package.
