Job Description
For a role of this nature the impact encompasses the entire organization however key requirements are as follows:
- Experience in ISO 9001/AS9100 and NADCAP preferred
Forging Industry knowledge big plus.
Experience with continuous improvement program implementation preferred.
Experience in high volume metal machining a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office required with strong computer skills.
- Administer the Quality Management System.
Recognize and implement effective problem resolution.
Ensure all processes in area comply with ISO 9001/AS9100 NADCAP and customerspecific requirements.
Lead the internal audit process and internal auditors.
Support the Companys Quality Assurance Programs.
Manage the Quality organization staff and their daily activities.
Develop and facilitate quality assurance related training for production and management personnel.
Maintain product traceability information.
Perform daily quality metrics and analysis in key areas of production.
Use Six Sigma/Lean methods to improve product quality throughout facility.
Manage all nonconforming product
Submit all nonconforming product to customers when required
Contribute to all product development.
Contribute to production improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with customer specified purchase order requirements.
Act as point of contact for 2 and 3 party QMS audits.
Maintain the gage calibration system.
Assist Purchasing with the Supplier Selection and Evaluation process.
