Technical Business Analyst (Government Sector LongTerm Contract)

Location:Phoenix AZ (Hybrid Onsite TuesThurs)
Pay Rate:$40$50/hr

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support IT projects within a state agencys Project Delivery team. This is a longterm contract with no set end dateif youre a strong performer they want to keep you. The agency follows a 90day probationary period and offers stability and career growth in largescale government IT projects.

About the Role:

Unlike traditional Business Analyst roles this position requires strong technical expertise. The ideal candidate should be able to gather requirements across SaaS and IT infrastructure projects and have an SMElevel understanding of business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document requirements for SaaS and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical analysis and recommend process improvements for government systems.
  • Collaborate with PMs developers and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Work on largescale projects like traffic systems DMV platforms and enterprise applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in business analysis (not just data analysis).
  • Experience gathering requirements for SaaS and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to largescale enterprise or government IT environments is a plus.
