Responsibilities
Oversee plant operations such as budget production schedule production planning and stock
Maintain clean and safe workplace
Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
Increase production capacity and flexibility while maintaining quality standards
Take responsibility for daily production output and product quality
Ability to manage multiple shifts
Monitor operations and take corrective actions to adhere to daily production targets
Share metrics and performance targets with top management
Recruit manage and develop the work force
Ensure a safe work environment for all
Address employee issues or grievances
Stay uptodate with the latest production management best practices and concepts
Proven managerial experience
Strong team building decisionmaking and people management skill
Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations
