About the Role:

This opportunity is to join the international account team who plans and supports across markets out of London on a leading technology brand.

We are seeking a Media Planner who is passionate about all media both offline and digital. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop their understanding of media planning in EU markets become an expert on their local traditional nuances in offline (TV print OOH radio cinema) and digital planning.

The Media Planner will be responsible for supporting planning and activation in Europe. They will be responsible for owning part of the process from beginning to end assessing suitable TV programming working with local account teams to identify and evaluate OOH sites across our cities and assisting with the implementation tracking and reporting of digital campaigns as well as managing teams across different time zones.

The position will also be expected to provide broader assistance and support with the managers including building presentations and/or charts writing POVs working with competitive and finance management.

This person should be knowledgeable about media marketing and have a cultural understanding of European markets.

The media team sits with the larger creative agency for this brand. Interest in broader communication and creative development is a must. The role would suit someone who is looking to work in a fullservice agency environment and relish the opportunity to work on a single client and develop with the brand and agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Manager in the daytoday running of the account.
  • Support campaign . Collection proof of postings for OOH sites digital screenshots and TV highlights.
  • Evaluate and plan local media opportunities.
  • Understanding of digital ecosystem and market specific landscapes.
  • Work with local teams to evaluate sites (outdoor and digital) identify and test new opportunities to expand our media buy in different markets.
  • Ownership of campaign management from brief to reporting with support from Managers.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining flowcharts campaign trackers and quarterly reports.
  • Identify and develop points of view on new media opportunities (i.e. new media channels).
  • Competitive monitoring assistance as needed

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience preferably in a fastpaced media agency environment preferably working across time zones on global businesses.
  • Passion for and interest in all media.
  • Culturally aware and sensitive an understanding of cultural differences within and across markets.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong time management & organisational skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to multitask. Account is fast paced and comms heavy.
  • Ability to create and manage your own todo list.
  • Enjoys working within a closeknit team.
  • Interest in developing skills to present within agency and to clients.
  • An eye for design. Excel skills required.
  • Second (or more) language skills a plus.
