Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the civil engineering department overseeing a team of engineers designers and technical staff
- Oversee financial operations set strategic goals manage invoicing processes and ensure timely resolution of past dues.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with services delivered and to identify opportunities for future project collaborations.
- Monitor and optimize team performance resource allocation and client satisfaction metrics.
- Establish divisional goals and growth strategies that will allow the civil engineering division to serve nationwide
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations in all projects
- A solid academic foundation with a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (a masters degree is a plus).
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of TX a musthave for this leadership role.
- 12 years of civil engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years managing teams or projects at a senior level.
- Expertise in residential and multifamily land development is essential.
- Exceptional problemsolving communication and leadership abilities to drive success and inspire the team.
- Familiarity with Municipal Utility District (MUD) development is beneficial as it will provide valuable insight into managing water and utility services for residential projects.
- Proven track record in residential land development from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in industrystandard tools including AutoCAD Civil 3D and project management platforms.
- Adept at leading diverse teams and juggling multiple projects without compromising quality.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to build lasting partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
