Shifts: 12hour Physician shifts 7a7p plus nightcall
12hour APPshifts 7p7a
Daily census: 1518
EMR: EPIC
Summary:
An EmergencyMedicine Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have astrong clinical background and be able to provide highquality care to adiverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions including injuries illnesses and emergencies
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Administer medications
- Initiate and manage patient care plans
- Provide education and counselling to patients and their families
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Boardcertified or boardeligible in Emergency Medicine
- 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing highquality patient care
Certification Requirements
- ACLS
- BLS
- Board Certified
- PALS
