The Precision Fires and Maneuver (PF&M) product area is seeking an earlycareerFinancial Analystto join the Javelin Joint Venture & Maneuver Systems finance team. This role supports financial planning and analysis for both programs. It offers a unique opportunity to work on a fastmoving growth area and the opportunity to work on products in all stages of development.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Program Management and crossfunctional teams to manage financial performance and provide critical insights into program . This onsite position operates with significant opportunities for interaction across finance supply chain engineering operations contracts and program management requiring strong analytical communication and presentation skills.
This role is being offered in an onsite capacity and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work is expected in Tucson AZ. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do:
Support Financial Planning & Analysis efforts including Weekly / Monthly Business Reviews Monthly Financial Forecast Updates New Business Initiatives (NBI) Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and LongRange Plans (LRP)
Support management of Javelin Joint Venture G&A cost and schedule data to ensure alignment with program objectives to include support of JJV accounting team
Provide financial transparency through clear and consistent communications with Program and PF&M teams
Partner with Program Management Team to prepare analyze and review inputs for quarterly Javelin Joint Venture Cost Reviews & Board of Directors Meetings
Assist with Javelin Joint Venture billings & receipts forecasts
Collaborate with Supply Chain to achieve financial and contractual commitments
Analyze labor and material cost variances to provide actionable insights
Support the Program Management Office (PMO) in maintaining accurate financial forecasts and staffing plans
Gain exposure to and assist in Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management efforts
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business Administration or a related field & less than 2 years applicable Finance work experience
Experience in financial forecasting and/or variance analysis
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer:
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Proven ability to meet critical deadlines and implement practical solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP Business Warehouse or similar platforms
Selfmotivated and proactive in seeking process improvements and analytical insights
Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic fastpaced environment
Experience with financial forecasting budgeting and variance analysis
Familiarity with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Estimates at Completion (EAC) and/or Earned Value (EV) methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel PowerPoint and Word
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
Experience identifying developing and implementing process improvements
