Position: Associate Attorney

Were seeking an Associate Attorney to help us handle a variety of cases in Workers Compensation Defense Employment Law and Wage and Hour. What Youll Do:

In this role youll gain handson experience in several key areas of law. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting legal research to support case strategies
• Managing case files and ensuring smooth case progress
• Drafting correspondence and pleadings for clients
• Preparing and responding to discovery requests
• Defending and taking depositions
• Communicating with clients insured parties and outside counsel

Youll be working closely with our Senior Attorneys and Partners with the support of our Legal Secretaries and Paralegals. Its a teamoriented environment where your contributions will make a real impact.

To be considered candidates must have a JD and be admitted to the California Bar (or currently taking the bar exam).

What You Can Expect:

• Competitive Salary: Starting at $100000 to $140000 with potential for increases as you hit billing milestones.
• Bonus Opportunities: We reward hard work! Bonuses are available for billing over 225 hours per month and for new client referrals.
• Comprehensive Benefits: Health dental and vision benefits plus a 401(k) plan.
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks of vacation plus sick time.
• Supportive Environment: Youll have an assistant for every two attorneys as well as paralegals and medical legal clerks to assist with your workload. Plus attorneys have their own private office.
• This is a fulltime permanent position but we offer the flexibility to work remotely if desired experience is there.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
