Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting plumbing electrical work carpentry and HVAC repairs.
- Inspect buildings and equipment for potential maintenance issues and address them promptly.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and update maintenance schedules as needed.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Improve and maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Support management systems like Pragma ISO9001 NOSA WCM etc.
- Adhere to safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Matric
- Trade certification in plumbing electrical work or carpentry is a plus.
- A buildingrelated qualification or attended courses or practicals
- At least 2 years of working experience in building maintenance or service/utilities environment
- Experience in water reticulation and plumbing and building work including painting plastering and carpentry work
- A team player
- Knowledge of plant safety
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Good timekeeping
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
