Job Description
Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opening for a MidLevel Toolmaker in Johannesburg with one of our esteemed clients in the manufacturing sector. This position is ideal for individuals looking to further their career in toolmaking within a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture repair and maintain plastic injection moulds.
- Design and implement mould modifications to improve performance and efficiency.
- Operate CNC machines and programming using Edgecam or Mastercam.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create and refine CAD drawings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pneumatic and hydraulic systems in moulds.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all tooling operations.
- Train and mentor junior toolmakers as needed.
- Certified Toolmaker with a completed trade test.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the plastic injection moulding industry.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
- Experience with CAD software for mould design.
- Familiarity with hot runner systems is a plus.
- Salary: negotiable.
