Job Description
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician on a full-time permanent basis for our Corporate Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan.
Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment As an Accounting Technician youll play a key role in supporting petroleum freight operations through accurate processing reconciliation and reporting.
What youll do:
- Batch key and adjust meter tickets; confirm freight info; follow up on missing or rejected EDI tickets from CCRL.
- Code and process freight charges for common carriers and lease operators; track and pay lease operator holdbacks.
- Set up unconfirmed freight prepare cost/sales and petroleum operations reports and assist with month-end activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and common carrier claims from distribution centres.
- Other duties as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have a high school diploma two (2) post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution and one year of relevant accounting experience.
