About The Moore

The Moore is a landmark destination in the Miami Design District comprised of a private members club hotel and a collection of restaurants retail exhibition event and office space. Housed in the Districts circa1922 Moore building the reimagined nearly 90000squarefoot space integrates two fourstory structures located at the intersection of NE 40th Street and NE 2nd Avenue and includes Elastika the sitespecific commission created by the late artist and architect Zaha Hadid for the inaugural Design Miami/ exhibition in 2005.

The redevelopment of The Moore is led by boutique hospitality firm and operator WoodHouse. Founded by entrepreneur Brady Wood WoodHouse creates owns and operates experiential concepts ranging from private clubs restaurants and hotels to live music and entertainment venues.

Position Overview

At The Moore A Food Runners primary task is to provide for an exceptional guest experience while aiding in their culinary adventure. The Food Runner will skillfully deliver exceptional customer service while delivering the requested food items correct to specification at the proper temperature and in a timely manner. In addition offer assistance to other needs of the guest.

• Accurately and effectively communicates guest food & beverage orders ensuring flawless to appropriate colleagues

• Ensure all guests are enjoying their dining experience

• Complete required sidework as needed

• Perform duties as reasonably assigned

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a fast paced finedining environment providing extraordinary guest experience

• Excellent service orientated attitude

• Excellent interpersonal skills to partner with colleagues under pressure.

• Perform work assignments with minimal supervision

• A high school diploma is required.

• Fluency in English language; additional language skills and knowledge preferred

• Prior experience in a highvolume restaurant/hotel preferred
