PROJECT SURVEYOR

Westwood Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our team. Responsible for the overall direction coordination implementation quality assurance/quality control and completion of survey projects in Westwoods Renewables / Power Division.

Lead the planning and implementation of projects and monitors the operational effectiveness throughout.
Serves as subject matter expert for survey related activities such as construction staking topographic surveying platting legal description writing boundary analysis exhibit preparation and legal principles.
Works with the Project Manager to define project tasks schedule and resource requirements.
Works with Project Manager to evaluate project budget scope and fee.
Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards policies and procedures.
Conduct team meetings with project team to evaluate and coordinate the project.
Stays current on servicespecific trends technology software hardware and equipment.
Provide daytoday guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed.
Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project.
Ensures division regional and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.
Lead by example display solid judgment good values trust honesty openness and professionalism.

Professional Survey License with multistate licensure preferred.
Fouryear degree preferred and/or 10plus years of experience in a consulting business.
Effective verbal and written communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
Handle multiple priorities and projects well.
