Job Description
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a PartTime Staff Associate (Removal Technician) at Mountain View Funeral Home. We serve as the cornerstone of our client family support structure acting as the glue that holds everything together. Responsibilities
- Transport deceased from various locations to Funeral Home
- Assist with funeral services such as transferring and lifting of deceased dressing and casketing visitation viewings and witness cremations
- Handle general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles belonging to the facility
- Treat all customers and passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Drive company vehicles within legal standards
- Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start
- Setup flowers and other memorabilia and ensure they are returned to the family after the service
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass MVR check
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Ability to lift 150 200 pounds without the assistance of mobile or powered equipment
Each removal completed during oncall shifts will receive a $55 stipend in addition to hourly pay.
Flexible Schedule: Sign up for oncall removal nights and weekday/weekend funeral services as fit your schedule.
Pay Range: $1719/hr.
