    $15.97 Minimum
    $22.51 Maximum

    PAY GRADE:

    AU3

    PRIMARY PURPOSE:
    The Painter is responsible for the district painting as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School Graduate or GED preferred
    At least three years with a reputable company Dependable and cooperative
    Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Paints school district property as needed.
    Selects proper paints stains sealers and varnishes for the different applications.
    Informs the Paint Foreman as to materials required for a specific job or daily duties.
    Is knowledgeable in the use of brushes rollers spray applicators and other equipment used by
    painters.
    Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    EQUIPMENT USED:
    District vehicle electric power tools paint mixer airless sprayer traffic marking sprayer
    scaffolds and ladders


    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    Mental Demands/Physical demands/Environment Factors:
    Strenuous walking standing and/or climbing heavy lifting and carrying working inside and
    outside exposure to dust and paint product fumes working on slippery or uneven surfaces working
    on scaffolds and ladders.
