Job Description

Become part of EIFER and drive climate solutions where science meets industry.

EIFER seeks a student for an internship position (m/f/d) with the titleAssistant Research Software Developer.

Start: 01.05.2025
Duration: max. 6 months (compulsory internship)
Weekly working hours: 39.5
Remuneration: 560 monthly

  • Improve existing frontend code base
  • Learn to build intuitive web interfaces to accommodate user requirements
  • Build compatible software with modern cloud architecture
  • Currently enrolled as a University student
    preferred study subjects: Computer Science Software Engineering.
  • Comfortable in web programming (JavaScript HTML CSS).
  • Base knowledge of the web framework VUE would be a plus.
  • Understanding of Git version control.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a willingness to submit code for review and actively incorporate feedback.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Interest in energy research and sustainability.
  • Innovative Projects: Engage in impactful research.
  • Global Collaboration: Work in an international diverse team.
  • Extensive Networks: Access local and international scientific networks.
