Job Description

HAICU (HydrogenAntihydrogen Infrastructure at Canadian Universities) is a TRIUMFbased project funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation. It focuses on developing quantum sensing technologies for antimatter atoms like antiatomic fountains and interferometers to test CPT invariance and the Weak Equivalence Principle. The current phase involves building atomic fountains and interferometers with lasercooled hydrogen atoms preparing for future use with antihydrogen.

BASIC FUNCTION: The primary responsibility of this position is to make leading contributions to the development construction and operation of the microwave system and other experimental systems for the HAICU project. Specific tasks include designing developing testing and prototyping various components integrating them into the HAICU system and supporting the operation and data analysis as required by the project.

PhD (received within 5 years) in Physics Engineering or related fields with relevant experience in experimental and instrumentation projects.
