Who Should Join

Typical Roles & Responsibilities
Lead technical decisionmaking and architectural strategy for engineering teams
Balance handson coding with team leadership and mentorship
Build and maintain scalable highperformance applications across frontend backend or fullstack systems
Collaborate with product managers designers and leadership to align technology with business needs
Define and enforce engineering best practices code quality standards and CI/CD pipelines
Help hire mentor and grow engineering teams fostering a strong technical culture
Optimize system performance scalability and security
Common Qualifications
While each startup has its own hiring criteria many engineering lead and technical lead roles in our network look for:
6 years of experience in software engineering with leadership experience
Strong expertise in backend frameworks (Node.js Django Flask Ruby on Rails FastAPI Spring Boot) and/or frontend frameworks (React Angular Vue.js Svelte)
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB DynamoDB Redis)
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes)
Strong coding skills in JavaScript TypeScript Python Ruby Go or Java
Experience leading crossfunctional teams and collaborating with leadership on technical roadmaps
Background in performance optimization distributed systems and software scalability
Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions
