Job Description
Review insurance & verifies it is in network with facility
Establishes priorities of care
Initiates requests for assistance when situation warrant it
Assist administrative scheduling staff in determining how soon appointment should be scheduled
Assist in updating new patient referral data to administration
Abstracts medical/Surgical hx and medication list into EPIC
Identifies patients approvpriate for OCM and notifies Incentive Coordinators attending Physician and Nurse Manager
Input patient data into OnConav
Provides coverage for new patient scheduling as needed for example sick days or vacations.
Assist with phone calls as needed
Assist with scanning of new patient referral paperwork into EPIC
Practices in a manner consistent with regulatory standards & hospital policy
Works collaboratively with Manager/Supervisor to develop career/Professional goals
Collaborates & Communicates with members of the health care team
Utilizes evidence based on knowledge to guide practice
Reports to work as scheduled and maintains an acceptable record of attendance
Performs other duties as needed
NYS licensed/registered RN. One year Medical/Surgery experience required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
Hemtology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
Monday Friday day time hours
