The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an opening for a tenureline faculty position as Division Chief of the Foot and Ankle servicer in the rank of Associate Professor or Professor determined by the chosen candidates qualifications. The incumbent will lead a dynamic and successful foot and ankle team within an outstanding academic Orthopaedic Department. Minimum requirements: Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery with greater than 8 years experience in academic practice advanced fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgery and a proven track record of successful leadership in academic medicine. The candidate will work closely with the foot and ankle team and executive leadership to further the missions of the Department of Orthopaedics. Clinically the candidate will provide foot and ankle Orthopaedic Surgical care. Applicants should have a sincere desire to lead develop and mentor others in focused clinical research and educational programs in Foot and Ankle Surgery and interest and experience in department and/or health system leadership. Candidates need to have demonstrated an exceptional academic interest and a clear track record of excellence in all aspects of Orthopaedics including clinical care education research and service.
