Job Description
As the Team Lead Mission Readiness on Zooxs Las Vegas Vehicle Operations team you will be responsible for the readiness of our vehicle fleet in Las Vegas. This includes vehicle preparation deploying the right SW/FW to the right vehicles at the right time premission checks refueling calibration support regulatory compliance and ensuring that the interior exterior and driving sensors are routinely inspected and cleaned per defined standard operating procedures. Additionally You will keep your team aligned with milestones and support ensuring goals and objectives are met. You will develop key performance indicators for your team members and aid them in reaching their and Zooxs mission.
Shift:
1st shift Tuesday Saturday 7am 4pm
In this role you will:
- Engage in the recruiting and hiring process for workshop personnel. Provide newhire onboarding training and communicating expectations.Create and manage employee schedules including time off.
- Support the analysis documentation and reporting of data as necessary.
- Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
- Manually drive L3 and auxiliary vehicles when needed.
- Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness.
- Manage workflow by allocating resources based on skill sets and ensure the job meets internal quality standards.
- Enforcing all health and safety policies in the workshop.
- Support the readiness of spare parts and the associated inventory. Ensure the workshop area is clean organized and free of dangerous and/or hazardous materials following company and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- 4 years of people leadership experience.
- Proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally (less than 20.
- Clean driving record with zero points on the record.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects/deliverables.
- Team player that collaborates well crossfunctionally.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must be honest responsible and an outstanding communicator possessing a growth mindset.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in a fastpaced operations & service environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendor relationships.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $73000 to $113000. A signon bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling and positioning within a level are determined by a range of factors including but not limited to a candidates relevant years of experience domain knowledge and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting represents the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
