CMHA is looking to hire a Fulltime 40 hours per week Lead Employment Specialist. This position will be located in New Britain CT. (MonFr 8am4pm).
Compensation:$21.00minimum to$30.00maximum per hour. Starting salary will be determined based on relevant years of experience.
Position Summary: The Lead Employment Specialist oversees assigned program functions/operations in accordance with policies procedures internal processes and external regulatory agencies. This includes but is not limited to: DPH Joint Commission DMHAS DCF and Grant/Payer Sources. These functions/operations are carried out under the supervision of and/or in the absence of the Program Coordinator. Provides support to staff onsite and in the community. Responsible for ensuring treatment is personcentered and recoveryoriented - Participates in and documents staff meetings weekly to ensure timely and accurate communication related to client care facility cleanliness and safety and other matters.
- Conducts primary caseload responsibilities and all associated documentation as per agency policies and procedures.
- Participates as a CMHA representative in all necessary internal and external meetings that pertain to clinical care compliance with fidelity and client activity.
- Collaborates with internal and external providers.
- Job develops and builds relationships with community employers.
- Responsible for running reviewing and following up with program reports re: client services and documentation.
- Oversees Supported Employment program in compliance with DMHAS/IPS Fidelity Model. Compiles all Supported Employment resources to ensure delivery of appropriate services.
- Ensure collaboration and integration between Supported Employment services and integrated teams agencywide.
- Manages assignment of new clients to Supported Employment staff and follows up to ensure intakes & discharges have been completed in compliance with agency policies/procedures.

Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in a mental health related field or relevant coursework plus experience required.
- Must have valid CT drivers license and access to a personal vehicle. Certified in First Aid and CPR.
- Successful experience in supervisory role of direct care provider to clients with severe/prolonged mental illness or equivalent preferably a minimum of 1 year.
- Minimum oneyear experience working in Supported Employment or related field with a solid understanding of Mental Health conditions.
- Demonstrates beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook.
Preferred qualifications: - Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
