About the Job
TheSales Managerwill be responsible for driving Corporate Groups and MICE sales for the hotel. Your role will encompass
- Driving revenue through proactive sales
- Creating and maintaining relationships with tourism providers and corporate accounts
- Acquiring high end groups meetings and incentive business
- Identifying new business opportunities and
- Responding to client enquiries and converting to sales
- Preparing contracts ensuring terms and conditions are clearly communicated
You will bring your extensive industry knowledge contacts networks and proven sales experience in a 5 star property. You will build productive relationships and attend a range of industry and corporate events. Flexibility for domestic travel is a requirement of this position.
About you
- Professional friendly and outgoing personality
- Results focused tenacious and motivated
- Minimum 3 years experience in Hotel MICE or Conference sales.
- Develops creative and effective sales plans and actions and thrives on accountability and making things happen.
- Comfortable working with a team and on your own
- Comfortable in dealing with leading companies senior executives and professional conference organizers
- Proven sales background excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of RMS property management system desirable but not necessary
