To help with that work we seek Part Time Faculty Environmental Science& Sustainability dedicated to nurturing critical wisdom in an evolving learnercentric institution. Someone defined not by their discipline but rather by their ethical approach to reshaping traditional higher education fully active learning mindset and futurefocused curricular lens. We are looking for a unique mix of learners leaders and impactdriven educators.
This means somebody with at least these three characteristics:
Classes Available Harrisburg Campus
The following course is intended to be offered onsite but with the right combination of expertise innovation and familiarity with teaching in an online environment there is a possibility of a hybrid learning space.
ENVS 230 Soils in the Critical Zone MWF 1 hr block (lecture) and W 4:00pm7:00pm (lab onsite required) 4 credits)
The pay structure is based on degree earned number of students enrolled within the course and how many credits.
Nice to haves:
The candidate has a minimum of a masters level certification and we prefer crosscontextual teaching experience. Candidates must show evidence of innovation diverse and relevant experiences entrepreneurial inclination and/or comprehensive higher education clarity. We are looking for a strong mix of autonomy and independence organizational leadership a high level of personal integrity and emotional intelligence and an intense desire to shape the future of higher education in Pennsylvania and beyond. This will require demonstrated values for active learning and verifiable evidence of your ability to serve in a learnerfacing role.
