Utilizing broadbased skills in basic patient care ancillary services and business office practices provides assistance to providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing.
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Health Association (AHA) guidelines.
• Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PNHS.
  • Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of agerelated growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
  • Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (i.e. vision hearing blood pressure etc. Personal Computer Printer FAX Machine Photocopier and Telephone.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • NA
